To publicly honor the much beloved TV pitchman Billy Mays with a memorial tribute nationally broadcast so he and his legacy shall not be forgotten.
We, the undersigned, have become much stricken with grief over the recent passing of a much beloved television icon, Billy Mays. We know you, like all broadcasting companies, try to relate to the vox populi in your broadcasts. In this petition we people are coming to you for help in honoring this well known celebrity.
It may be much to ask, but we request some time to honor, recognize, and memorialize the life, career, and passing of Billy Mays. We do not have any source of funds, to pay for such an endeavor. So we just hope that our cumulative plea to you, as American People, as fans of Billy Mays, and as your Loyal Viewers, could move you to allow some of your own financial resources to produce and broadcast a small half hour to an hour long television tribute in the afternoon safely before prime time on a Weekend or Friday.
