Ban BPA In all Consumer Products

The artificial compound bisphenol A (BPA) is currently used by many major food brands as a lining metal cans. It is also found in baby formula containers and in other consumer productucts such as the plastic linings of metal water bottles. Studies have shown it can have adverse health effects that include cancer, obesity, and attention deficit disorder.

Please help to tell the FDA to ban BPA and take an important step to a healthier world!
We the undersigned would like to urge the EPA to immediately investigate and ban the chemical bisphenol A (BPA) from consumer products in the United States. This chemical has been the subject of many studies and has been repeatedly found to cause a number of terrible health problems including cancer, obesity,  attention deficit disorder, and genital abnormalities both boys and girls.

The FDA is responsible for the food safety in the United States and in the past has done many important things to improve the overall safety of food in this country. Please take the next important step towards a healthier America by immediately investigating the studies on Consumer Reports and the recent article by Nicholas D. Kristof in the New york Times which both stand behind the fact that BPA is dangerous.

Thank you in advance for protecting Americans from the harmful effects of BPA, I know many people will sleep better at night knowing that their friends and family are safe from this threat to America's health!
