Ban sled dog businesses

  • af: Ali Spittler
  • mottagare: Sled-dog businesses are responsible for the inhumane slaughter of thousands of dogs. Outdoor Adventures Whistler is no exception.
When business slowed after the winter Olympics in Canada, rather than find adoptive homes for a third of their kennels, Howling Dog Tours (a part of Outdoor Adventures Whistler) instructed an employee to shoot and kill more than 100 perfectly healthy dogs. They had messy deaths, were killed in front of each other, and suffered prolonged deaths. Corporations with more than 50 dogs should be disbanded and disallowed. We cannot allow this to happen again. Here are links with more information. Beware of the graphic nature.

This is the actual report from the employee who performed the euthanasia. He  is attempting to collect workers comp. This is particularly graphic, use caution.http://www.cbc.ca/bc/news/bc-110131-worksafebc-whistler-dog-cull.pdf
