Bark for Patrick -- It Should Be HIS Choice!

To those who are, and will be, reviewing the hundreds, possibly thousands, of applications to adopt Patrick:
  1.  Patrick was broken when he was found. GSVS and his caregivers literally brought him back to life, not only physically, but emotionally.  He is no longer broken.
  2.  If he is no longer broken, do not try to, figuratively speaking, fix him again and  expect him to make another adjustment in his short life.
  3.  It is your responsibility to do the right thing because it is the right thing to do. Which in this case, would be to use common sense and NOT subject him to anymore stress or trauma than that which he has already suffered.
  4. He has been at GSVS long enough to bond with his cargivers. Why disrupt that? Why expect him to adjust to another new situation. It's not rocket science.
  5. If AHS has found it necessary to copyright photographs of Patrick because his situation is being exploited by scammers trying to make a buck, then AHS should seriously consider tossing out 99.9% of the adoption applications it has received. It is the contention of those of us signing this petition that most of them want to exploit Patrick once again for the 15 minutes of notoriety. If the applicants are this serious about adoption, then all they need to do is visit the abandoned, abused, and neglected animals who have been dropped off at AHS.

We the undersigned are addressing this to those of you who are, and will be, reviewing the hundreds, possibly thousands, of applications to adopt Patrick.

  1.  Patrick was broken when he was found. GSVS and his caregivers literally brought him back to life, not only physically, but emotionally.  He is no longer broken.

It is the contention of those of us signing this petition that most of the applicants do not have Patrick's best interest at heart and want to exploit him once again for the 15 minutes of notoriety. If the applicants are this serious about adopting, then all they need to do is visit the abandoned, abused, and neglected animals who have been dropped off at AHS.

Thank you very much for "hearing" us out and we encourage you to do the right thing because it is the right thing to do. All the best.
