Campaign Unchain Mon County
A dog's natural habitat is in a pack; they eat, sleep, play, and hunt with others, whether in the wild or in a domestic setting. They deserve to live indoors, with a loving family who will protect and care for them, or AT LEAST in a ...fenced yard where they can run, play, and escape from intruders and the elements. Chaining (tethering) or penning a dog, any dog--regardless of size, breed, or age--is cruel and inhumane. Chained/penned dogs suffer from boredom, anxiety, and loneliness, and they rarely, if ever, have protection from the elements, other animals, and parasites. Additionally, chained/penned dogs are 2.8 times MORE LIKELY to attack a human than their non-chained/penned equivalents. For their sake, and ours, it's time for change in Mon County: Campaign Unchain!
