Tell Canadian Bar Sexism is No Joke

In O2's Taphouse and Grill in Edmonton, Alberta, male customers can relieve themselves in urinals shaped like women's mouths.

Tell the owner of O2's that sexism isn't funny--ask them to remove the fixtures.

The urinals, designed to look like women's open, bright-red lips, have been removed from other Canadian bars after patrons protested the fixtures. In the U.S., the National Organization for Women halted the installation of the urinals in a JFK airport lounge. However, in O2's, the degrading fixtures continue to be part of the decor despite local residents' complaints; the bar's co-owner, Neil Seifeddine, insists the urinals are "cool" and "funny."

Sign this petition to tell O2's owners that degrading women isn't cool or funny--ask them to remove their sexist urinals.
We the undersigned ask you to remove from your establishment the urinals shaped like women's lips. The fixtures are degrading, inviting male customers to relieve themselves into an object designed to look like part of a woman's body. Other Canadian bars have removed the fixtures due to complaints, and the National Organization for Women has halted the installation of the urinals in public places in the United States. We call on you to recognize that these urinals contribute to the objectification of women and to remove these sexist fixtures from your bar.
