Cheese Please, Belize

We hear today that Belize plans to prohibit the import of cheese to the country. Although we have a cheese manufacturer in Belize, the product is garbage and tasteless: it doesn't even make good sauce.
We in Belize have lived with monopolies for years: we have tolerated a mushroom ban (what is that all about?) potato famines, onion shortages, and no lemon juice (because apparently lime juice taste the same) amongst many other inconveniences. But we cannot and will not go without our cheese. This is the final (cheese) straw.
