Consumer Bailout

A simple solution to the current economic crisis

In part, the American economy is based on a prosperous middle class of consumers.  Besides bailing out the lending institutions, Congress should capitalize the consumers.  A million dollars apeice ought to get the job done.  People could then pay for houses, furniture, appliances, cars and college tuitions and put whatever is left over in the bank. 

We the undersigned, demand that Congress allocate enough of the $7 hundred billion bailout money to give each adult American citizen a million dollars.
