Professor Kong Qing-Dong of Peking University, one of the most renowned universities in China, commented abusively on an incident happened recently in MTR railway of Hong Kong in a online show broadcasted by a popular website V1 News. During the interview, Prof. Kong suggested that Hong Kong citizens are bastards, dogs (he insisted on using the term dogs for four times in a six-minute interview) and he even said that they are not human just because a Hong Kong citizen pointed out to few mainland tourists that it is not allowed to eat in the train. Instead of accusing the mainland travelers of taking illegal action, Prof. Kong scolded at Hong Kong citizens in general in his show and suggested that they have no qualification to speak against mainlander because mainland travelers have contributed in the tourism of Hong Kong. In the show, Prof. Kong even advocated physical violence over Hong Kong people by describing them as a race which is not beaten enough.
This is not the first time of Professor Kong promoting violence in public. Because of his extreme political stance of supporting totalitarianian leaders like Mao and Kim Jong-il, he usually abuses democratic activists and swears at reporters or students who are not on his side. His usual abusive behavior have already irritated his own pupils that they wrote a public letter to Peking University asking the school to dismiss Professor Kong. In an online survey conducted by Club.kdnet.net, over 80% Chinese netizens support the dismissal of this professor because of his lack of respect of his job or anybody around him.
We all know that teachers can really influence how young adults and teenagers think of the world. Scholars whose mind is flooded with radical racism should not be allowed to promote hatred or violence over anybody in neither classrooms or television shows. We need to tell Peking University that they have to treat their students and the public’s voices seriously. We demand Peking University to dismiss Professor Kong Qing-Dong immediately because of the constant promotion of unreasonable hatred and violence due to racism or different political beliefs.

There is no doubt that teachers can really influence how young adults and teenagers think of the world. Abusive scholars whose mind is flooded with radical racism and, most horrifyingly, who promote extreme hatred and violence over anybody should never be allowed to run a classroom in any university. In an online show broadcasted by V1 News (第1視頻新聞網), Professor Kong commented on Hong Kong citizens are bastards (王八蛋), dogs (狗) and suggested that “they are not human” (他們不是人). Moreover, he scolded at Hong Kong citizens in general in his show and suggested that they have no qualification to speak against mainlanders, and later advocated physical violence over Hong Kong people by describing them as "欠揍”, which means “lack of beating”. No matter what has happened in the MTR incident that he was commenting on, as a well-educated scholar, Prof. Kong should never speak in such a non-respectful and immoral way. What he was saying was outrageous and it was more than exerting freedom of speech -- he was promoting violence out of racism and this can never be justified in any context.
As Peking University is one of the most renowned universities in mainland China, you need to tell the society that no brutality is allowed since exerting violence on the other person is a crime. We hereby seriously demand Peking University to dismiss Professor Kong Qing-Dong immediately, because of his constant promotion of violence out of racism and radical political stance.
