Royal charter to rename town in Wiltshire-from a grateful nation

As most of the nation knows; repatriated members of the Armed Forces land at RAF Lyneham and the people of Wootton Bassett have turned out in hundreds & thousands to honour them on behalf of our nation and stand to attention in whatever weather is prevalent.
We have now past the 100 mark yet still this village turns out and all the shops,businesses,Mayor and the great,wonderfully patrotic Royal British Legion turn out.

We, the undersigned hereby request that H.M Queen Elizabeth do declare by a royal decree to rename Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire - Royal Wootton Bassett which is a grateful nation saying thank you for being there on our behalf.
