If you've ever tried the
Graphing Calculator that came bundled with Mac OS you know what a great app it is. It is simply one of the
most gratifying user experiences on the mac. Alas, Apple stopped bundling Graphing Calculator with Mac OS X, and since Mac OS X 10.4 it includes an alternative called grapher which is nowhere near Graphing Calculator in usability or power. In truth, us Mac aficionados have never forgotten Graphing Calculator. That's why we're asking Apple to include it in Mac OS again and give their user the experience they're accustomed to.
Dear Apple,
we're users of Mac OS. Many of us have been using it for years. We find Mac OS X a great product, but there's one thing we miss of the classic Mac OS: Graphing Calculator. It was easy to use and yet powerful, and an irreplaceable companion for math students.
We grew used to the idea that using a Mac also meant being able to do math quickly and easily and we regret not being able to say this for Mac OS X and its Grapher application.
That's why we're asking you to acknowledge what Graphing Calculator means to us, and to include it in the next Mac OS Version.
