Bring Carter Home Now!

Carter, a young Great Pyrenees Dog was picked up across the street from his house and dropped at Lousville, KY Metro Animal Control twenty miles from his home.  Because he was so far from home it took his family some time to locate him.  The shelter then chose to give Carter to Jane and John Rose of Indy Great Pyrenees Rescue of Indianapolis, IN.  Because the Roses failed to pay the fee to remove the dog from the shelter, he is not legally their property.  From a humane perspective, what kind of rescue would refuse to return a dog to a home that desperately loves and wants him?  The Louisville Metro Animal Control Facility's interim director and Animal Control Officer Courtney Gray have requested that Jane and John Rose return Carter to the shelter.  They have refused to comply.  With so many homeless Great Pyrenees needing their assistance their refusal to send this boy home is heartbreaking and illogical.  Let's help bring Carter home now.
We the undersigned request that Jane and John Rose of Indy Great Pyrenees Rescue, Inc. comply with the request from Louisville Metro Animal Control and return Carter (ID number IDA431186)  to their facility so he may be reunited with his loving family.
