Im against the government spending my money on the Quilliam Foundation

To Gordon Brown,

It is with disgust that I read that the Quilliam Foundation, a so-called "counter extremism think-tank", has received over £1 Million in funding from the tax receipts of the British public. They do nothing to support community cohesion within the united kingdom, and instead have directed a serious of attacks upon prominent muslim figures within the community.

I for one am extremely disappointed that a collection of former extremists, rather than concentrating on their own redemption and reformation, have instead decided to be extremist towards the muslim community. They have exploited the british government who seek a mouthpiece for its own foreign policy commitments, and have elected to sow the seeds of hatred and false accusations against millions of law-abiding muslims.

I therefore sign this petition to indicate that I am extremely disappointed that my tax receipts are being used towards the promotion of hatred against a faith group that has made countless contributions to british society.

Regards,
