We, the undersigned residents of League City, Texas, support the establishment and maintenance of a fenced dog park within League City, Galveston County, Texas. Dog parks are safe, secure areas where dogs can run and play off-leash with other dogs. I support a public/private partnership where the City of League City provides the land, initial funding, and city services (trash removal, utilities, lawn maintenance, initial construction of fencing and amenities), and the private sector funds the enhancements and upgrades where needed. I prefer the Dog Park to be located at the previous approved Parks Board location of 750 Centerpointe Drive @ West Walker Street, a central location for all of League City.
