The Tomecko family is a family of 9, who has had a rough couple of years and they need help from Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Please sign this petition to try and help us get EMHE to come and help them with their home.

This family has been through so much ...... Birth of micro preemie twins last year, death of one of their babies, the surviving twin was in the NICU for 129 days...only to come home on oxygen, bilateral hearing loss, very damaged lungs which require medicine 3 times a day every day. They got rid of their family dog because of this and also tore up the carpeting in their house. He has many, many developmental delays and feeding issues. If Kenny gets sick, he usually ends up in the  hospital,  which takes time away from work for Tony Sr., who owns his own sign business...which, in turn, has also been affected by everything. They live in a small 1100 sq. ft. home which has 3 small bedrooms. The house is old, drafty and has many things wrong with it that they don't have the money or the time to fix. The wood on the outside of the house is rotted around all the windows, there is no insulation in the walls, so the house is constantly cold..which doesn't help their heating bills in the cold Northeastern Ohio winters...Oh the problems go on and on...

Please visit the family's blog to see the whole story and reason behind this petition!  http://mtomecko.blogspot.com/ dont forget to watch the videos that Michele, the mom, has put together.

We the undersigned would like you to feature the Tomecko Family as a family for the EHME show.
They are a family of 9 who has had a very bad couple of years and could really benefit from a new home. Last year they had a set of twins born at 23 weeks gestation. One passed away while the surviving twin spent 129 days in the NICU only to come home on oxygen and monitors. He now has bilateral hearing loss which he requires hearing aids, oxygen at night, many developmental delays that has him in PT/OT and feeding/speech therapy too. He is always getting sick because of the small space that this family lives in...not to mention all of the problems wrong with it....rotted wood, water damage, no insulation in walls, the list goes on and on...they had to get rid of the family dog and rip up the carpeting because of Kenny's bad lungs..Every day is a struggle for this family...the dad (Tony Sr.) works from the detatched garage. He has his own sign business. There is no heat in there, so he has space heaters to warm the space. His business has been hit hard by him having to spend time at the hospital with his son, Kenny when he gets sick while Michele stays home with the other 6 children, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, and 5 months. Please consider this family because they really NEED it and have done many things for the community that they live in. Tony does signs for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fundraisers, as well as different local police departments, businesses and their church. I would recomend that you check out their family's blog to read all about this loving family who deserves a break in life. Thank you very much! http://mtomecko.blogspot.com/
