NO Advertising on Cox Cable Channel Guide
With a recent software upgrade, Cox Cable TV set-top boxes now display advertising in the lower-right corner of the Channel Guide screen.
These advertisements have nothing to do with Cox, or even television -- they are for products like "Proactiv" skin care and "Quicken Loans" mortgages, to name just a couple.
We are already paying enough for our cable TV service, without having to be assaulted with unwelcome advertisements in our living rooms! This is one step too far for Cox!!
Please sign my petition, which I will submit to Cox management. Thank you for your consideration.

With a recent software upgrade to our set-top boxes, Cox Communications is now displaying advertising in the lower-right corner of the channel guide when we, its customers, visit the guide page.
We are already paying Cox big money for our cable TV service, and this unwelcome intrustion of additional advertising into our lives is one step too far!
We, the undersigned, request and demand that Cox remove the advertising from our screens at once.
