No Pink Slime for Our Children

The USDA is purchasing 7 million pounds of "Pink Slime" to feed to poor American children in their school lunches.  This is meat scraps, essentially garbage, treated with ammonia.  McDonald's has agreed to stop using this stuff which is known to carry salmonella and other dangerous bacteria.  If this is not bad enough this slime is full of dangerous trans fats which are known to cause health problems.  Please tell the FDA that our children should not be fed garbage.
