We
must demand that better laws for animal protection be enforced in North Carolina (and all over the world). I work at a Veterinary hospital and you would be amazed of the kinds of neglect and abuse that I witness, and yet we cannot do anything about it! There are
no leash laws in certain parts of the state, so for example, the man I live near whose
dogs run in the road and get hit and killed all the time (I have hit two of them) can't be charged with anything! Breeders (irresponsible ones) can
breed their animals to death and have nothing done to them! Tons of puppy mills exist in NC and nothing is being done! Something
MUST be done.
Animal Control doesn't have enough help to control the area. Animals are still gassed here. They shove 20-30 animals in a
gas chamber, that
doesn't even work correctly (it leaks), and gas them. The animals are
SUFFERING here. We must come together and take a stand for this cause. If you love animals, please sign this petition so that we can get started!!!!!!
