What orphans go through at Osu Children s Home (Ghana) as reported by my friend Anas Aremeyaw Anas the treatment, the abuse etc...
These Orphaned children are physically assaulted; they die from malnutrition while food meant for them is sold on the open market. The children are being taught to say "we eat good food, nobody beats us, our mothers love us and we also love them so don't sack them, we are very comfortable, nobody steals our donations, they cook very sweet food for us among others. The children have been made to memorize and pour these lines by heart whenever any stranger asked them any question.
The daily life that the children have to endure is different from the rosy picture that OCH project to the outside world. It is marked by severe... mental, emotional, and physical abuse. Insulting the children and their families is the only language the staff use with the kids.
A call for help to change the barbaric conditions at Osu Children's Home (Ghana) is inevitable. This petition is for everyone who believes that orphans deserve a caring childhood.
