Petition Governor Brewer to Veto AZ Birther Bill

The Arizona birther bill, which outlines "acceptable" proof of citizenship for presidential candidates as baptismal and circumcision records (in lieu of long-form birth certificates or postpartum hospital records) has passed and is on Governor Brewer's desk right now.  The Governor has five days to veto this outrageous bill before it becomes law.
Dear Governor Brewer,

We the undersigned ask that you please veto House Bill 2177.  Baptism and circumcision are both religiously significant and personal events.  Evidence of these events are not legal public documents in the United States, and should not be politicized or deemed proof of citizenship or proof of live birth in the U.S.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this letter, and to consider the subject at hand carefully.
