Pledge to help stop the cruel breeding of veal calves

My wife and I stopped eating veal many years ago due to the shameful and inhumane methods by which the little calves are tightly chained up alone in those tiny igloos and never permitted any exercise, nutrition or even kindness during their very short and tortured lives.  At approximately 10 to 14 weeks of age, their torture ends in cruelly inhumane slaughter, after which they become a delicacy for those who don't (or dont want to) know any better or just don't care.

These little creatures are bred in farm factories and are considered nothing but products to those who "farm" them.  The painfully cruel methods of producing veal is a disgrace that doesn't get much public visibility.  We recently drove across the NYS Thruway from Rochester to Syracuse and noticed several farms with seemingly endless rows of what look like small plastic igloos.  In each one was a living, breathing creature that's been immobilized and tortured in order to satisfy the appetites of callous or ignorant humans.  And those igloos or similar restraints exist throughout the world.

Click here to see just how organized this ugly industry is, with just one of their public relations organizations that are devoted to spreading false "scientific studies" and other lies, otherwise known as spin to dupe the public.

By signing, you are pledging to stop eating veal and to help spread the word about how cruelly these little creatures are treated.  Enlighten your family, friends and colleagues.  Look for ways to tell those involved in producing the veal that we're committed to helping stop their inhumane methods.

Thanks for helping to make a difference!
