Position of Pressure nfp Community Building Petition

We, the undersigned, call on the residents of Chicago, Illinois and its surrounding suburbs to support the acquisition and rennovation of the vacant real property located at 15th and Kenneth Ave., Chicago, IL 60623 for the purposes of a new social services center for Position of Pressure nfp's violence prevention programs.

The structure will allow for expansion of vital community services and intervention such as mentoring, literarcy programs, career development, counseling services, tutoring, job training and others.

Once the building is acquired, renovated and opened it will create more than 70 jobs in the struggling North Lawndale area of Chicago's West side.

The renovation will require funding from our local and state government. Therefore, the need has to be established and backed-up. Your voice and signature is more than enough to begin the process of healing in an increasingly violent world.

Our services are 100% FREE and have NO resident/city limit restrictions. We service individuals from all areas of Cook and DuPage counties of Illinois and (in some cases) Florida and Indiana.
