Decriminalize marijuana!
Millions of Americans a year are arrested for excercising their right to smoke marijuana...a harmless substance that can even be harvested to help the sick. I'm making this petition in hopes to get enough signatures to change the laws in Texas concerning marijuana. It's time we joined Cali. and Mass. in righting the wrongs of the past by reforming marijuana laws. After gaining signatures I will send this petition to every leading member of the Texas Legislature including the ones in charge of the current bills being introduced to help legalize marijuana. Together we can create a voice loud enough to be heard.
Were asking that a bill be introduced to tax and legalize marijuana as alcohol is treated and that current bills hb902 and hb164 pertaining to marijuana be passed to stop the arrests of innocent Texans and help the sick Texans that marijuana would, in fact, help.
