We the undersigned, are emailing you today regarding the newly installed post limit on tumblr. We feel as though there a few positives with this new installment, but the negatives far outweigh the positive that is going on.
Tumblr has always been a way for many young adults and teenagers to express themselves artistically, emotionally and socially. Tumblr has helped save lives, start ideas and enhance daily interactions.
Users who are active to extremely active can easily reach 250 reblogs/posts in a matter of hours, furthermore, this hinders the super-users ability to connect with the ones that are interested in speaking with them and even collaborating with them.
Rather than punishing the users for posting more, they should be honored and even displayed on the tumblr radar. Even though the post cap helps with abuse and spam, it does not affect the amount of users spamming or abusing others. It is easy to get a mean message off in 250 posts, but not as easy to fully express oneself.
All we ask, is that you consider revising the new limits and you would think about your active community. Thank you for reading.
