Retain Sheila Bair as Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

Dear President Obama,

We the employees at the FDIC respect and support Chairman Sheila Bair for the leadership and stability she has displayed during these challenging times facing our agency and the financial industry.  Chairman Bair has brought about much needed change and leadership to the FDIC not only in the regulatory arena, but also in our work place culture and employee relations.  Chairman Bair is promoting a workplace environment where we are treated with respect and empowered to be successful in our jobs and to contribute to the fullest extent to achieving the FDIC's mission.  Chairman Bair exhibits the FDIC's corporate values of fairness, teamwork, integrity, competence, effectiveness, financial responsibility, open and honest communication, empowerment, and effective leadership.  For all the above reasons, we support Chairman Bair and ask that you please retain her as our leader and Chairman of the FDIC.
