Return last meals to death row inmates.

None of us can know the fear being sentenced to death will cause.  None of us can feel what it is to be moments away from being murdered by the state.  One of the only things that a prisoner has to cherish on the day he dies is his last meal.

But State Senator John Whitmire and Brad Livingston, the executive director of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, think that is too much.  That they shouldn't be indulged or coddled before they are snuffed from this world.

Please don't let this stand.
