Rt5 overpass petition

Hello.  We are going to keep this short, sweet, and to the point. We have reviewed the Charles County commissioner group's goals and they seem to be lacking something essential which is fixing route 5/ 301 traffic. It is a disaster ALL the time - weekdays & weekends. We suggest a meeting with PG county board to make plans for a Brandywine overpass such as the beautiful one in Hughesville. Charles County is building and expanding everything except roads. It is just ridiculous. The extremely large property taxes should help cover the expenses.

It would be great if we could expand transportation infrastructure like ROADS. I honestly could care less about getting a metro to Southern MD. Also, in January 2009, the commuter bus to the Census Bureau was cancelled and now hundreds of people drive everyday and sit in the wonderful traffic that could be avoided because there is plenty of land to build more roads!
