Rush Limbaugh: Apologize

On the very day that Americans of all backgrounds were coming together to celebrate President Obama's inauguration and begin the hard work of rebuilding our nation, Rush Limbaugh proved once and for all that rather than the patriot he claims to be, he is nothing but a cynical windbag.

Before inaugural ceremonies had finished, Limbaugh made his wishes for the new administration clear with four words: "I hope he fails."

Rush, we've had enough of you and your whining. By wishing that Obama will fail, you are wishing that America will fail. You are saying that you would rather see more people suffer, more families lose health insurance, and more people lose their homes to the failed economic policies of your own political party.

So if you don't want to be part of the solution, fine. But you owe the American people an apology, and once you say you're sorry, you should go home and move out of the way for the rest of us who are committed to helping President Obama and America succeed.
To Rush Limbaugh:

We are deeply disturbed by your broadcast wish to see President Obama fail in his new job as commander-in-chief and leader of the United States of America.

By wishing that Obama will fail, you are wishing that America will fail. You are saying that you would rather see more people suffer, more families lose health insurance, more children live in poverty, and more people lose their homes to the failed economic policies of your own political party.

We believe you owe the American people an apology.
