Saving European Basketball

Please read this through all the way and if you're a real basketball fan I know for sure that you'll sign this petition.
I will explain this petition by telling you a story:
For the last 40 years there has been one team dominating the Israeli basketball league- Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In 40 years only two times has Maccabi lost the championship: 1992/3, 2007/8. This year, after 15 years, Maccabi lost the championship to a team which has been much better throughout the enitre season: Hapoel Holon. Hapoel Holon have an owner which is limited with money, and that owner, Miki Dorsman, declared that this season he wouldn't envest any money in the team. Dorsman invested all the money he could the previous season because he thought that winning the championship would attract big sponsors who would carry the team for many years.
What happened this summer? Dorsman declared he is leaving the team after he could not find any serious sponsors.
How is it possible the Israeli basketball champions can't find serious sponsors who would invest a lot of money in them?
Well... We can only blame the rotten organizations called the ULEB and the Euroleague.
As the champions Hapoel Holon should of got a spot in the Euroleague, but the Euroleague did not accept Holon because Israel can only have (according to them) one spot in the Euroleague, and that spot is filled by second placed Maccabi Tel Aviv. Maccabi have a "contract" till like 2050 with the Euroleague, making them the only Israeli team that can participate in the Euroleague.
Owner of Holon said that he found a sponsor that told him he would give the team only $200,000. That same sponsor also told him that if Holon were in the Euroleague he would have given $2 Million. And obviously many sponsors would have put just as much money on Hapoel Holon if they participated in the Euroleague!
Holon lost all there players, and now the Israeli league is heading for another 15 years of drought...
With no spot in the Euroleague, Holon just pointed out to everybody that teams in Israel have no ambitions. There is no place to aim to. So Holon won the championship... So what?!
Nice story, Huh? Good to know Israeli basketball is shitty thanks to the ULEB and Euroleague organizations.
And I should point out the Euroleague isn't just an organization- it's a company... A company which has nothing on their minds other then money. Can you imagine if in football (soccer) for example, a world-class team like A.C Milan had a "contract" and would of automataclly participated in the Champions League?! It's outrageous... This season A.C Milan finished in 5th place in the Italian league, a position in the table which is not worthy of Champions League participation... Ther are rules... According to these rules A.C Milan can't qualify to the Champions League, and for that exact reason they will not participate in the Champions League next season... Can you imagine if a team with great history like the Boston Celtics would have participated in the playoffs even though they wouldn't of had a good enough ranking?! That would put a better team out of the playoffs!! Is that even thinkable?!
Up until now I gave you an example from Israel... But it's not just Israel... All of Europe's basketball is rotten!
In Croatia- KK Zadar are the champions (2nd time in 4 years) but the Croatian spot in the Euroleague goes to Cibona Zagreb... If it doesn't hurt Cibona to lose the Croatian title, no wonder the league over there isn't competitive and Cibona Zagreb won 15 championships in the past 18 years...
In Turkey dominant Efes Pilsen finished in only 4th place... Do the teams in 2nd and 3rd positions get anything? No. The second Turkish spot in the Euroleague "supprisingly" goes to Efes Pilsen.
Same thing happened in France with Le Mans... Soon enough the French League will lose its competitiviness if this keeps on going...
Places like Serbia have also been demolished because of this system... KK Belgrade may have been a great team before the Euroleague became a company, but ever since nobody over there really believes any other team can achieve anything.
I wrote a lot, and I appreciate your patience, but now it's time for you to understand what your signature means.
The purpose of this petition is to get 10,000 at first, and many more later to sign this petition. By signing this petition you promise to be a part of the boycott (ban) of Euroleague broadcasts.
If 10,000 of us will just stop watching the Euroleague on TV then this petition will get noticed in the press, and a letter to Euroleague commisionet Jordi Bertomeu and a letter to ULEB President Eduardo Portela will become a very important step in changing the terrible reality of European Basketball. What's the reality I'm talking about? The reality of the non-existence of competitive basketball.
LET'S SAVE EUROPEAN BASKETBALL TOGETHER!
