Mandatory Spay and Neuter Law In Colorado
Pet overpopulation is a vital crisis facing our community today. Last year, over 4,000 animals in shelters were euthanize d due to lack of space. By enacting a spay and neuter law, it would prevent new litters of animals that will be homeless, plus give the animals in shelters a better shot at getting a home. Why keep birthing more animals when there are thousands of healthy adoptable animals in shelters waiting for a home. This petition asks Colorado's Senator's to make a law requiring all pet owners to spay and neuter their pets preventing unwanted litters with no home. Please sign this petition and put an end to animal homelessness today.
We the undersigned are asking you to pass a bill and make a law requiring all pet owners in Colorado to spay and neuter their pets. We are asking this as concerned citizens who are looking at the pet overpopulation crisis and realizing that we need to take action. Please take action by responding to this petition. With spay and neuter laws in place, it will decrease the birth of animals and give the perfectly healthy and adoptable pets in shelters a better chance at finding a home. I appreciate your time in reading this letter and the concerns of the signers and will look hopefully look forward for a response.
