Isn't it time for America to stop having to pay the price for the abuses of the big three oil companies ... along with their Neo-Con Conspirators?
Isn't it time for Americans to stop having to file for bankruptcy ... to stop filing for unemployment ... to watch as our dollar continues to go down the drain ... to watch as our planet continues to be polluted with toxins and waste ... while our jobs are shipped overseas ... and all this while the real estate and loan industries are blamed for all of our financial woes?
Doesn't it seem more likely that it is the oil industry profiteers ... along with their lobbyist accomplices ... accompanied by their bought and paid for politicians ... and their petro-wars of killing and genocide ... that these are the real cause of almost all of our current financial difficulties today.
After all, isn't it the oil industry that has been stealing from each and every one of us at the pumps ... driving our food prices higher and higher ... driving inflation through the roof ... which has effectively caused our income to be almost half of what it was worth a few years ago?
When shipping costs are increased so severely as a result of oil prices ... doesn't that cause our cost of living to increase as well by driving up the cost of everything we must depend upon?
Hasn't the irresponsible profit taking agenda promoted by greed driven petro-traitors been the cancer crippling our national economy?
Doesn't it seem as though our democracy has been overthrown by the petro-industry along with their military accomplices?
Haven't the petro-traitors been stealing criminal level profits from us by selling OUR own natural resources back to us at criminal prices!
The Real Estate Industry keeps being blamed for our problems today but in truth isn't it the Cost of gasoline and diesel fuel at the pump along with the horrific expense of mid-eastern petro-theft wars whose cost is in excess of over 400 billion dollars that is crippling our economy and our nation?
Isn't this reality the main cause of the real estate and loan crises in America ... a crises that is only one of many crises facing us today as a result of these demented and psychotic policies ... and NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!
THE OIL INDUSTRY HAS ALWAYS MANIPULATED MARKET CONDITIONS AND HAS HAD THEIR REGULARLY SCHEDULED REFINERY PLANT FIRE OR ANY OTHER EXCUSE THEY COULD CONJURE UP JUST IN TIME TO JACK UP PRICES AT THE PUMP FOR KEY HOLIDAY/TRAVEL SEASONS!
WHAT THEY HAVE DONE THIS TIME IS PSYCHOTIC ... CRIMINAL ... TOTALLY UNETHICAL ... IRRESPONSIBLE ... AND UNQUESTIONABLY IMMORAL!
THEY HAVE LOBBIED FOR THEIR PETRO-WARS IN THE MIDEAST WITH AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS PAYING FOR IT ALL.
NOW OVER ONE MILLION CIVILIAN LIVES TAKEN AND OVER BILLIONS OF OUR DOLLARS SPENT ... JUST SO THAT BIG OIL COULD STEAL FROM IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN ... THROUGH TREATY OR OTHER INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT ... THOSE COUNTRIES RESOURCES AND ESPECIALLY THEIR OIL!
WELL ... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
NOW IS THE TIME TO STOP ALLOWING OURSELVES TO BE MANIPULATED BY BIG OIL AND TO TURN THINGS AROUND SO THAT IT ISN'T AMERICA WHO IS CRYING FOR MERCY ... OR OUR LOAN INDUSTRY CRYING FOR MERCY ... BUT THE OIL MONGERS THEMSELVES WHO ARE CRYING FOR OUR MERCY INSTEAD!
This petition is only one step in a positive direction for Fiscal Responsibility in our Nation.
If we all work together to spread the word and get everyone we know to become involved we will give the Obama Whitehouse the leverage they need for Major Reform that is desperately needed.
With our support, rather than support from corporate lobbyists we can finally get what is most needed for our planet and our nation!

We the undersigned are requesting that The United States House of Representatives take a number of effective and immediate steps to confront the global warming issues facing our nation and our planet as a result, in big part, of the irresponsible policies that have been imposed upon us by the petroleum industry over the past eight years and beyond!
Step 1) In order TO CREATE AN IMMEDIATE SURPLUS OF OIL that will significantly DECREASE the price per barrel of oil and DECREASE THE COST PER GALLON OF GAS AT THE PUMPS giving immediate relief for millions of Americans ... AND TO REVERSE THE DEVASTATION TO OUR ECONOMY and OUR NATION as a result of irresponsible Petroleum Industry Policy ... THE IMMEDIATE REINSTATEMENT OF THE 55 MPH MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT NATIONWIDE!

Step 2) In order to stimulate the production and decrease in cost of alternative technology vehicles, and to set an example for our nation as well, The U.S. Congress will Mandate that the federal government place into action an intensive and aggressive program to replace the entire federal fleet of conventional technology vehicles with Hybrid and alternative technology vehicles by no later than July 2009.
Step 3) In order to have maximum impact on setting new green trends for transportation on a national basis and to further set an example by doing, The U.S. Congress will mandate that the federal government offer major federal subsidies to all State and Local Government Agencies for replacing all existing conventional technology fleet vehicles with hybrid and alternative energy vehicles by no later than January 2010.
Step 4) In order to protect our planet and further stimulate technological and scientific development in alternative technology vehicles the U.S. Congress will mandate that the federal government begin offering major alternative energy development grants and subsidies specifically directed at the American Automobile Industry beginning no later than July 2009.
We are thankful that the democratic party is destined to be the party of our next President of the United States and it is because of our belief in you and your vision that we have created this petition as a means of giving direct public support to you and your administration for what we all know is needed for a better tomorrow.
