Stop the growing trend of digital downloads on video game consoles

The growing trend of digital distribution is a poor one for owners of video game systems. With no guarantee of the download services still being accessible in the years to come and the inability to burn physical copies of game downloaded via the PSN network, XBOX live, or WiiStore it becomes impossible to assure a product purchased will still be available in the future. Should this trend continue for all games in the future games with no means of creating a physical copy then consumers may be left without their purchases should the service become permanently unavailable.

          Downsides of direct downloading on gaming system:
-no means of backing up games
-cannot trade or sell
-no physical copy of product
-more expensive or equally priced to store bought games
-termination of service would mean loss of all products purchased
