TELL COVERGIRL TO STOP TESTING ON ANIMALS
CoverGirl, a cosmetic company owned by Proctor & Gamble Co. is still conducting cruel and unnecessary experiments on innocent animals and for what? Lipstick. The facts are that many animals for this company are forced to do a LD50 test, which is used for a wide variety of cosmetics. The aim of this cruel test is to find the dose which will kill half the animal sample. Now, for a test to be considered valid, a minimum of 50 animals are required. This means that this company tortures thousands of animals all for the sake of make up. In this petition I call on all signers to protest against this cruel practice. This is a rich enough company to find alternatives to testing on animals and signing this petition means you agree with the lack of need for these tests that make animals suffer and your signature represents your action taken on this issue.
We, the undersigned, are asking you to stop your cruel experiments on animals that are unnecessary. After discovering that you perform the LD50 test on animals is sickening and we know that a large company such as yours, has the money to use other alternatives than still testing on animals. We the undersigned refuse to buy your product until proper action is taken and publicized. We sincerely appreciate your time in reading this letter and we hope that it will have an impact on you.
