Tell Sen. McCain to Stop Supporting Offshore Drilling

Back in May, the Senator had it right when he said, "with those resources, which would take years to develop, you would only postpone or temporarily relieve our dependency on fossil fuels,"

But this is the song he's signing now - "I believe it is time for the federal government to lift these restrictions and to put our own reserves to use."

The oil and gas companies have convinced both McCain, and a larger segment of the American people, that drilling these areas will somehow cure all our oil woes.
