Emergency lanes on the worlds longest bridge! Help save a life.

How does one of the longest bridges in the world not have emergency lanes? Thousands of drivers cross the Causeway Bridge every day. Not many people put to mind the fact that they have nowhere to go if a tragedy happens to them or their family. The Causeway is twenty- fours miles long and only has crossovers miles apart. An emergency lane will give immediate safety, I experienced that years ago on the Casueway! My dad and I got a flat tire on the Causeway and had nowhere to go but the nearest crossover. Sad part is, we just passed the crossover and couldn't turn around. We were in route to the next crossover and we didn't make it and niether did my dad. We got hit by an intoxicated driver and the car was set inflames. I started this petition almost three years ago and I'm back with a vengeance.
