Update Channel 8

The goal is to get 1,000 signatures to encourage ABC's local affiliate, KTUL, to update the local station, channel 8/KTUL's, signal. Oklahoma has the highest rate of digital converter box/antenna users in the US, 16%, and thus the most potential issues with the conversion from the analogue signal to digital. UPDATING CHANNEL 8's equipment or the FCC to increase the signal will increase channel 8's signal strength making channel 8 more accessible to rabit ear/converter box users. SUPPORT THIS CAUSE, so THOUSANDS of OKLAHOMANS, are not left without Channel 8/ABC and treated like LOWER RATE CITIZENS!!!

We the undersigned respectfully request that you consider the below proposition which potentially affects 16% of the viewer population of Channel 8/KTUL (local ABC).

We request that ABC corporate offices update the local stations's (KTUL) signal to be comparable to the same signal/services that NBC and CBS provide. Oklahoma is the perfect place to start with updates in technology and signal strength as we have the highest rate of digital converter box/antenna users in the US, and thus potentially the highest percentage of the population affected by the annalogue switch over that occured in June 2009.

Thank you for your time. We look forward to your positive reply and tens of thousands of Oklahomans being able to, once again, watch KTUL/ABC.
