ACTION NEEDED - Urge S. Korea to ban eating of dogs

In S. Korea, it is perfectly acceptable to eat dog (not just the meat, but other parts as well). With enough pressure from the international community, perhaps we can change this.  With the growing understanding of animal intelligence and emotion, the tradition is now being questioned.

We the undersigned understand that food customs are different throughout the world.  In light of the growing understanding of animal intelligence and emotion, we urge the ban of the farming and eating of dogs.  These animals have been close friends and companions to man for thousands of years, and we hope you will treat them with respect and kindness in return.
