Variation of Food Not Bombs

According to the New York times, President Obama has asked congress for 83.4 billion dollars for military and diplomatic operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This will cause thousands more troops to be sent to war, and push the cost of these two wars to close to a trillion dollars, since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
"This funding will do two things %u2014 it will prolong our occupation of Iraq through at least the end of 2011, and it will deepen and expand our military presence in Afghanistan indefinitely," said anti-war Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-Calif.

Howard Zinn, historian and peace activist states; Instead of using two planes a day to drop food on Afghanistan and 100 planes to drop bombs (which have been making it difficult for the trucks of the international agencies to bring in food), use 102 planes to bring food.
We the people who have signed this ask for congress and president Obama not to use our money for warfare. We agree that Afghanistan and Iraq would be better off healthy and well-fed than dead.
