Verizon: Cancel your Greedy $2 Fee!

Dear Verizon Wireless,

I can't quite believe this. Did you really just announce that on January 15th you intend to start charging your customers a $2 convenience fee for paying their bills online? Seriously? What are you, jealous of all the good press the banks got last year trying to gouge their own customers?

As a Verizon customer for the past six years, I consider the idea that I could be charged money by you as a reward for my prompt, efficient online monthly payments a slap in the face, and I won't accept it, and I don't believe your millions of other customers will either. 

At least I hope not, and I'm writing this petition to find out. I, and all the signers to come, urge you to reverse this ill-considered fee on the American middle class. We're already being nickeled and dimed by the banks, and you've seen where that got them. Please don't follow in their footsteps.
