The single-payer Colorado Health Services Program (CHSP) encompasses a broader range of coverage than is currently available through any single private insurance plan.  It eliminates wasteful administrative spending by replacing our current fragmented, multiple-insurance model with equitable health care access. CHSP provides:

- Systemic health care reform

- Quality health coverage for all

- A comprehensive, public-payer / private-provider system

- Choice of providers and hospitals

- A single, statewide risk pool for all residents

- Integration of financing, administration and healthcare electronic information            

We petition the SB 208 Colorado Blue Ribbon Commission for Health Care Reform to recommend, and the Colorado Legislature to enact, the Colorado Health Services Program.
