The future of support for renewable energy production can be negatively effected by combination of greedy companies and lack of oversight by those who control our tax dollar support for the renewable energy industry.For example, Invenergy of Chicago, a major wind energy producer, is fast-forwarding a major wind turbine array, within an Audubon Important Bird Area. right outside the Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Eastern North Carolina. This refuge is the winter home for hundreds of thousands of Tundra swans and Snow  geese, some from as far away as Alaska.  In addition, this area is along the East Coast migration route and has many eagles, both Bald and Golden as well as many species of song birds.For those that remember, this area was the focus of Charles Kuralt's "On the Road" show.
