Mexico, protect human rights advocate Vidulfo Rosales

Human rights advocate Vidulfo Rosales has been forced to flee Mexico after receiving repeated death threats. Rosales is a veteran champion of poor indigenous Mexicans and has made enemies amongst drug traffickers and rogue military, both of whom have tortured, raped, and murdered their fellow countrymen in the Montana region of Guerrero. Rosales heads an organization that won the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award in 2010.

Please join the Robert F. Kenney Center for Justic and Human Rights and other humanitarian organizations who are calling on Mexico to investigate threats against Rosales and offer him full federal protection!

We the undersigned ask that you take aggressive action to identify and prosecute those who have threatened the life of Vidulfo Rosales. Rosales is a dedicated and selfless human rights advocate who has undertaken to help one of the poorest, most underrepresented communities in Mexico. He deserves better than to have to run in fear of his life. Make sure it is safe for him to return home and resume his important work!
