Tell Trump's Cabinet to Stop Acting Like Lovestruck Teenagers and Start Telling Him the Truth

Cabinet meetings are supposed to be where serious leaders debate problems, challenge bad ideas, and tell the president what he needs to hear.

Instead, Trump's cabinet meetings now look like a humiliating televised audition for "America's Next Top Sycophant."

One after another, cabinet officials compete to flatter Trump harder than the last person. The praise is so over-the-top it sounds less like Washington and more like North Korea.

And actual adults like Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gush about the economy while inflation rises and consumer confidence crashes.

And that's the real danger here. When everyone around Trump is terrified to challenge him, nobody stops the lies, nobody questions the failures, and nobody forces him to fix the disasters he helped create.
