End animal abuse, Now!

Animals at local fairs and other events are kept in confined spaces or cages for entertainment. They are forced to be touched, ridden, or won as prizes by hundreds of people all day for profit. This is dangerous for animals and humans because there are different bacterias humans and animals can spread, that can cause both species to become very sick. When animals are in confined spaces for too long, it can cause anxiety and/or depression. They should be in a space that is comfortable for them, and reasonable to their size and natural habitat. A solution to this is to set a standard size of an area that an animal will feel completely comfortable in. Elephant and camel rides should be banned because of the cruelty of animal labor it is. At a "petting zoo," event, everyone should be required to wash their hands before and after touching the animals. If the petting animals are kept there all day, they should have more time taking breaks from the people, then being pet. Animals should be supplied their own food, and not fed, for this can lead them to overeat. All animals should be in a space that contains properties from their natural habitat.
