A petition for stronger penalties against animal abuse!

This is a petition to let our lawmakers know that more harsh penalties, tougher sentencing, and more strict laws need to be enacted against those who abuse animals.  The general public is getting tired of "slaps on the wrist" and crimes being classified as misdemeanors instead of felonies.  These are creatures that feel the same as we do, love us unconditionally, and DESERVE BETTER!!!!  It is about time that we protect them better!!!  I hope that you will sign this and post far and wide.  I will get the appropriate contacts to send to so this will make the most impact.  Thank you.
