Make it Illegal for Illinois to Pay Workers With Disabilities Less Than Minimum Wage!!

Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act allows employers to pay less than minimum wage to more than 11,000 disabled workers in Illinois by applying for a license: they can be paid a cent per item produced or less than a dollar per hour! This act was created with good intentions, but since it was made in 1938, we now know more about what people with disabilities can achieve and it's quite outdated and harmful. Please sign this petition to have Illinois join other states like Alaska, New Hampshire, and Maryland in repealing this act!
Once this petition gets enough signatures, I'll send it to my representatives. Thank you!!
