Demand an End to the Application of Pesticide Use in the City of Toronto and our forests, Now!

So they plan on poisoning the standing water on their 'city-owned' property (as if that makes a difference); this very water that bugs, birds, mammals, family pets, etc need for survival, thereby creating more unforeseen problems. I say Leave nature alone. Nature does much better without us humans trying to "fix' their problems! Bring back the Dragon Flies! They love eating mosquitos as do Bats! If you agree that pesticides are not a solution, please sign and share and make their phone lines busy. Thanks, we can stop this!

Between June 17, 2019, and September 30, 2019
The City of Toronto is planning to spray pesticides Altosid Pellets and VectoLex WSP into the City-owned catch basins. The pesticide VectoBac 200G will be applied to standing water on City-owned property. These pesticides are being used to try to control mosquito larvae on city property to reduce the mosquito population and the associated risks of West Nile virus.
Contact toronto.ca/health at 416-338-7600 to demand they stop the use of pesticides and leave nature to take care of itself. They will only continue to pollute and poison if we don't stand up and make our demands and concerns known.
We've all seen birds falling deathly ill from eating toxically contaminated bugs. This needs your attention, we've been too complacent as a society, it would be nice to be able to vote on such a destructive decision.
