STOP THE 7-ELEVEN

Today we received a letter from Bowman Consulting, the engineering firm that is designing the proposed 7-11 plans on the corner of Livingston Rd and Countyline Rd. We have 15 days from today to voice our concerns to the planning and development department.

The following is a link for the proposed plans…

Follow this link then scroll down to Seven Eleven #38410 Lutz and click the paperclip

Our concerns are as follows…

  1. Page 9 of 18 the drainage and grading plans shows the runoff and drainage goes off the property directly AROUND the retention pond into our lake. (Take note the lake is not on the plan)

  2. WHERE is the traffic study?? As we know this intersection is already a headache without a gas station. There is no traffic study attached and there is NO way a car could leave this site going south on Livingston Rd unless it's 2a.m.

  3. There are NO private drinking wells or septic tanks for adjoining properties on the plans, thus water quality and property values are not a concern.

  4. Where is the required environmental impact statement that confirms the review of drinking water sources???

  5. This proposed gas station will kill this lake and potentially harm Pasco County citizens poisoning their wells.

At what cost do we grow Pasco County???? Let's Grow but let's do it responsibly.

THEY WITHDREW!!!!!! We have had commissioners in the past that have helped us. This time Starkey‘s response to us was "I’m sure Pasco County knows what it’s doing". She has a paid staff but it took 18 months of us doing research for it to be withdrawn. If you’re in Pasco vote for Jessica Stempien she’s an environmental scientist, believes in growth but not growth that is going make our county less than

Starkey does not care about Pasco

Great News!!!
The project is officially withdrawn!!!
Thank you for all of your support. FYI I am speaking with Jessica Stempien, the candidate running against Kathryn Starkey for county commissioner today. Kathryn Starkey was a nightmare during this process.
I will let you know my opinion afterwards but she looks great on paper, She is an environmental scientist

At the BOCC meeting today we adressed the debacle of the meeting on March 18th as well as the warranty deed for the property not allowing a well on that property, the RES-3 designation, the traffic , the noise, lighting and the run off in to our lake. There is a meeting on 3/28/19 in NPR at 1:30pm. THIS IS NOT A DONE DEAL!!!! We need to be heard by the county on the questions about the lake, traffic, noise, wells, drainage, and the size etc.
