Make monthly rent affordable for everyone

Now more than ever, affording housing is extremely costly. A number of people can't afford to pay their rent, and unfortunately are left with no other option than to either pay late, or seek an alternate amount if this is possible.
Everyone deserves a roof over their head and I hear a number of people who fear they'll end up homeless, due to the rising cost of housing. Everyone should have access to affordable rent, in some way, shape or form. It's not fair that so many people are struggling to make ends meet; and are forced to choose between the everyday essentials of life.
More programs need to be made available to those having a hard time getting by, and wait times for such programs should be much shorter. Together, we can make this a real possibility.
