Challenge the Big End of Town Power

The recent decision by the Liberal NSW government to amend the decision of the independent review committee on the Crown Casino site smacks of democratic hypocrisy.
The review committee clearly stated that the podium element of the develelopment should be changed to allow more public access to this important public area.
This did not suit the Packer organisation at Crown .The NSW has again buckled to the whims to the Crown lobbyists and acceded to Crowns requests and ignored the advice of the independent review. It is time the public of Sydney and NSW stood up against this abuse of power.
